This is definitely a beautiful summer. everything is so perfect. sadness is absent.

How time flies! last yr's formal was like yesterday. cant believe it's already a yr! many things have changed. lots of memory came back.

oo, i have to give my special thanks to Jason. He helped me pick such a nice dress. also i would like to thank Dave's mom for lending me her expensive and gorgeous shawl. it totally upgraded my dress. and dave, thank u for driving me around to get my dress, get my hair done and get to Liberty Grand. you are an awesome friend. =)

i dunno why im blogging considering im gonna skip my 1-3pm class to study for my 4-6pm test. i think it's just the stupid snowstorm.

soooooo...after 2 month of being blogless, this place is going to get some renovation!

i've been really busy. school work, parties, hanging-outs....life is awesome tho!

after msn space changed into this shitty live space, i lost my interest of blogging. since it's a long time since i last blogged, i actually decided to blog again. it has been so busy for me after this yr started. amazingly busy! learned a lot as well.

let me start to list the stuff i need to write on here.

1. i moved into new rez. it's townhouse this time and i wish i had apartment again. townhouses are old and dark, no ac, but have bugs. the kitchen is small, washroom is small and there is only one. i thought it would be a problem that 4 ppl share a washroom, but it turned out fine. good that none of us tends to like to hog the washroom. awesome roommates. i heard there were peeping toms around rez area, so my curtains are drawn 24/7.

2. i got the position of UTM Events Coordinator for Golden Key. applied and had an interview. apparently they liked me. gotta put a lot of effort in this. =) so excited!!

3. went to BIZFROSH!! yeah, bizfrosh! had SOO MUCH FUN. omg. our team, Mohegans aka Asian Sensation rocked everybody's socks off. we won every single game, including the ones where we had to compete with all other teams. there are soo many awesome stories tell...wont bother to write them here. BUT for ppl who didnt go, u totally missed out.

anyways, gotta stop here. =P

today is so stupid. i left home without closing my balcony window and it poured. logged onto msn and started to be really pissed. so disappointed.

i HAVE TO add a blog now. I CANNOT WAIT!!!!

i DID go to The Black Eyed Peas concert!! me and mora thought we couldnt get any ticket b/c everybody outside was waiting to buy tickets and tickets were sold out a while ago. i swear there were at least 200 ppl waiting outside to find a chance to get in. me and mora finally found some guy with 2 tickets. we got them at a high price and then rushed in.

OMG the concert was the best thing happened to me after coming back to China. it was really exciting!! the funny thing is nobody sat for the whole concert. everybody was standing there, waving and screaming and shaking and singing. half of those ppl were non-chinese. the concert was definitely weight-losing. i was all sweaty afterwards.

i forgot to bring camera, so i had to take pics using my cellphone and we all know that sucks. took video too but i doubt a 2nd person can tell what the hell that is. BUT, as long as i know and i enjoy! =P

booked airticket to go back to sy on the 20th.

aahh i'm so excited and i miss canada so much when i was watching the concert. =(

it has been a long time since i updated my space. i spent some time in Inner Mongolia with my grandparents, so i didnt get a chance to get online. it was some purely peaceful time when i was there. played majong with them every afternoon. my grandpa is so old but cute. =)

went swimming last night. it was tiringgggg.......but fun!

btw choosing courses sucks most.

gonna go to The Blacked Eyed Peas concert tonight. AWESOME.

time to say what is up.

i finally started working from last friday. it's a trading company, dealing with stocks. and guess what my job is??!! DOING NOTHING. lol... hahaha!!! interesting, eh? i go to work, turn on the computer, then talk online. i read some busniess magazines sometimes as well! that may be the only part that is connected to working...man...

this work experice will go on to my resume, but details will not. lol...

i moved into my own apartment in beijing. my last tenant left and the new one is not here yet, so i get to stay there for some time. it's really close to my company. =) and..my last tenant was the best tenant ever. he bought a DVD player, lots of lamps, comfy chairs, TONS OF stationeries, kitchen facilities and all those other things. he went back to the States so he left all those things. i got so many things for free! woohoo! that guy's awesome!!!

anyways, i'm actually working now. so this totally proves what i said. i need to do NOTHING for my new work!

    so things dun go as well as i thought. the bank i was supposed to go to got into some serious accident. they lost 8 million, RMB (that means chinese dollar if somebody doesnt know). so i cant go anymore. instead, i'm going to a trading firm (hopefully, lol). i'll take my resume to their company when meeting up with the manager. there are 2 other banks available as well, but i'll check the trading company out first since it sounds pretty interesting.

    nothing much for me...there was a party last night in my uncle's house. we BBQed in his backyard. some ppl came over, but they are all my uncle's friends and their families. they came over for the opening of world cup. that means, i didnt get a good sleep last night. haha.

   there wont be that many pics for this summer. nothing fun is going to happen...:(

starting from tmr, i will be working in a bank in Beijing for 2 months. International Banking department. still dunno what i will be doing tho. i guess i will know after i get there. hope it's not some too hardcore thing that i cant do. hope it's not something that everybody knows how to do either. i'm sure i will learn a lot. not necessarily about how to work in a bank, but how to work in general. i dun really have good working experience, so i really need it. knowing what working is like in china helps me more in making choices in the future, i believe.

i was so happy to get online today, but i got all pissed. havent been so pissed for a long time. i really dun understand why ppl have so much ability to create some unhappiness when it's totally unnecessary. sometimes, really simple things are complicated way too much. normal communication can change into weapons to hurt each other. really didnt expect this.

now i'm in china! i'm so bored. i go to bed early since i have nothing to do. hope i can start working soon. everybody seems bored...it's a boring summer.=(

it's so hot and i was complaining that i should stay in toronto for summer. talked to a couple of friends in toronto and they told me it's SUPER hot there in toronto. aayyy, it's hot everywhere i guess.

aaayyyy, dunno what to write in my blog. btw, my cellphone in China is 13889124917. it may be changed. i dunno. BORED and LONELY!!! gonna put up some more pictures. ayy!

yeah, i guess it's time to update my space. din have time to update b/c i was busy preparing for my final exams. they kicked my butt. it was a fun exam time tho. bombed the exams by not studying, but got a lot of good food.

time flies, eh? cant believe i finished my 2nd yr in univ. that means HALF of university is done. feel sad tho. univeristy time may be the happiest time in my life. never had so much fun. learned a lot, got to know a lot of great ppl. apparently 2nd year was more memorable than 1st year.

so now it's time to get ready for home.

last friday was commerce formal. it was fancy and awesome. congratulations to max, the new office administrater for UCS..good job, man.. :) i looked so oriental. i wore my chinese dress.=P i also used pearl chinese hair pin to tie up my hair and pearl earings..CHINESE PRIDE!!

wednesday, as usual, we had our WEA (Wednesday Eco220 Afterparty). we were gonna go to some place for pool, but since not that many ppl joined, we ordered pizzas and played pool in Blind Duck.

thursday, utm commerce students had a hockey game against ppl from Deloitte. after that, we had some refreshments with those ppl and networked a lil bit.

tonite, i went to the underground party in CCIT buildling. a blacklight party!!! it was goooood! everybody was busy drawing on each other. i wore my "school girl" outfit..haha! they gave out a lot of free stuff as well. good event!

fun night tonight! our lil gang group planned a big event tonite! we got 24 ppl playing laser quest!!!

it was such a workout, man. i was walking and running away from peeps and try to shoot someone. got all sweaty and so tired. i thought i did it well! but OMG, we played 2 games only, and i ranked 24th for BOTH TIME! i was the biggest loser there!

overall, it was a fun night! I LOVE Y'ALL, PEOPLE!

so now i want to blog about how amazing last saturday was!

in the morning, i volunteered to senior residence to bring casino to them. it was called "commerce care". i'm posting pictures as well. it was soo sweet. old ppl were so cute and they were so happy to see us. we set up black jack, poker table, roulette, prinkle and all those stuff. we were working as dealers, that's why we were all in white shirt and dress pants. :P after that, we went out to eat and UCS paid 20 bux for every person! it was AWESOME! sooo...for those who didnt go, u missed out! muhahahaha!

saturday night, things got more excited! i went clubbing with my friends in downtown and we actually got into a car accident. my friend's car was ruined but the good thing is nobody got hurt. there were 6 ppl on the car and 4 ppl at the back seat didnt have seat belts on (including me..) we were exiting the high way and it was jammed. so we didnt manage to stop in time and BANG, there it happened. it was kinda scary tho. the funny thing is the car we hit took off. i guess the driver may be drunk...then my friend, driving his busted car, dropped us off at the club and went to the police with his other friend. then they came back and joined us in the club. clubbing was FUN! but afterwards, we smelled like cigarette and weed...eeewwww. i didnt get home until 4am...LOL

so that's it. not many pictures from clubbing tho.

i have a quiz early in the morning...never really studied for the quizes for this course, since they are open book quiz. cant really study much for open book quizes.

tonight was fun! our lil gangs group went bowling after our stats lecture from 6 to 8. 6 of us: me, sap, yara, max, thinesh and dave. i sucked at it soo bad! worst game in my life! i got like 40 something for the game, which was a total loss. tooo rusty! well, i'm bad at it all the time, but not as ridiculous as this time! so we decided to have Eco220 after party every wednesday night. oh yeah, it was funny when we were trying to get Thinesh's bag back from Sap's car. our dear driver Dave kept missing the gas station we were supposed to meet Sap and Yara at. well, it was not his fault since he didnt know where the gas station is.

so now i'm going to post my pictures from the ski trip! should have done this earlier but i have too many pictures recently. soooo, here!

here am i, back again. so i havent blogged for nearly 20 days. had really busy days before reading week, so i didnt blog during that time. reading week was busy, helpful and interesting for me.

now let me talk about my awesome reading week.i went to a 2-day business conference in King Edward Hotel in downtown Toronto. the conference absolutely enlightened me. i realized there were that many things to do for me as a student. lol...not just study and party...lol. ok, let me review the whole conference. it started with a businese breakfast with recruitment ppl from IBM, Scotiabank, some law schools, grad schools, business schools and an engineering company called Harshall. well, there are probably more than these companies, but i dun remember. so me and my friend, andrew (see pic below. LOL. well, his hair was not like that when we went there.) wondered around like 2 lost puppies, being scared by those aggressive smart kids, chose a table of the Harshall company since nobody was there. we sat down, got our food, and then 2 ppl working for Harshall company sat with us and we talked. they asked us what program we were taking and we said commerce. they were like, "well, we are an engineering company, so i dun think this will be helpful for u 2." boooooooo, who the hell knew that was an engineering company and we JUST wanted to sit down and have breakfast...well. then they played a lil game. when they ring the whatever bell, we needed to switch table. we were smarter then, so we went to sit at a table of Scotiabank and started talking to this lovely lady. we talked for so long and we all enjoyed. then she gave us her business card. it turned out that she's the manager of recruitment and development of downtown Scotiabank. she also told us to look for her if we want a summer job!!! HOLY, THAT'S AWESOME!!! soooo proud of ourselves!

after the breakfast, we had a couple of useful workshops and then we went to IBM Canada's headquater.

the 2nd day of the conference consisted of some workshops and then GALA dinner. we got dressed up! it was coooll.

then i went to downtown autoshow for a day.

in the weekend, i went to the ski trip in blue mountain. it was FUN!!! everybody was so drunk on friday night. drunk ppl r hilarious. we had soo much fun!!! commerce kids rock!

i think i should stop here. such a loooongggggggggggggg blog! i will post those pictures. =)

the frequency of my blog is nearly once a month. i dunno why but i became such a slacker after xmas. i dun study, i dun blog, i dun do anything... watched a lot of tv series tho...like the famous Korean tv drama Full House, which is really funny, and the one about hotelier; North American series: Desperate Housewives, the OC, Grey's Anatomy and Prison Break; HK series: blah blah blah...so many of them! lordy lord...other than these ones, i installed a software to watch chinese tv channels...time passes so fast when watching tv series.

finished one bloody test on monday, and there is another one coming up on friday. next week 2 tests, monday and thursday. i will try not to bomb them. surprisingly, second yr in univ passed so fast. my dear reading week is coming sooooooooooon.

i'm currently studying for my friday test...yup, at nearly 4am...

OMG, today was FREEZING! when i was having breakfast, my roommate Natalie came back and told me it's freezing outside. then i went out and experienced it myself. it WAS cold...

mgt22o prof was soo happy today b/c of the news about Canada adopting internation financial report standard (or something like that...) he's from australia and australia has been using that for a while, but canada is following US GAAP. now he's all happy!

went to a GGR lecture today. it's about marketing geography. the prof was sooo funny. i like his jokes.

hey, it's 2006 already! my last blog was from last year, so i think it's necessary for me to blog again to keep this place a tiny lil bit fresh. other than that reason, i found there were too many comments for last blog. there are more than 1 page, so i decided to blog today.

2005 was not a bad year for me at all. it was AWESOME. travelled to lots of places in china for summer. spent xmas+new year in Vancouver. got to know lots of new friends. they are the coolest ppl ever.

now most of my friends in china have finished their finals and got home for winter break. it's gonna be chinese new year soon. it's something i have been looking forward to all the time. =) hope you guys enjoy it with your family and old friends.

now there are basically two things i look forward to. they are both during reading week. the first one is CANCON for my Golden Key club. there will be a ball and a Gala dinner. i already bought a GUESS dress for it. the second one is Commerce ski trip. it's gonna be pure FUN!

i will leave for Vancouver tmr afternoon. my xmas is divided into 2 parts. part 1 in Toronto, part 2 in Vancouver. it will be fun!!! anybody want anything from vanc? i bet u do! haha!

yeah, i havent updated this space for so long. everything seems to be rotten. =P

so now i officially accept the complaint about me not blogging and here i am.

i've finished all my goddamn exams several days ago. after that, i went shopping 2 days straight and spent loads. sadly, mostly for myself.

i went to watch King Kong with Karl Plasecki (pictures below, lol), my personal bodyguard, and I was forced to buy pop and popcorn for him. King Kong was a good movie, but the ending was kinda sad...:(  then again, my friends said it was not that sad. haha.  i dunno. some parts are really disturbing, the bugs part that is. and those native ppl on  the island are so scary. :S the funny thing is, when i was watching those parts when the girl spent time with Kong, i always thought "hmm, it's gonna stink like hell!!" they were cute tho.

i'm leaving rez today. i will be back on the 3rd, i guess. well, have to. stupid univ starts on the 4th. booooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
